About Me
I have taught at every level from middle school to graduate school; I am comfortable working with those who adore math, and those who hate it -- but I try very hard to encourage students to find things to love about math.
Education
I have a PhD (and masters) in Applied Math from the University of Arizona, a masters from Miami University, and a bachelors in math and physics from Bowling Green State University.
Teaching Experience
I've been teaching and tutoring since 1981.
Interests
As a professional mathematician, I spend a fair amount of time writing mathematics. In addition I like gardening, practice sustainable agriculture, and study human-caused climate change.
I love teaching and explaining science at every level!
